Newbies drschenck Posted September 26, 2012 Newbies Posted September 26, 2012 We are running Filemaker Advanced on a Mac OS X 10.7.4 Lion. Remote connections randomly and intermittenly drop. There doesn't see to be a great load on the Mac. Has anyone seen this kind of problem before?
Lee Smith Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 We need more information on your setup. How are the files being accessed, web, server, peer to peer, etc.? I will be moving your topic to the appropriate topic area once I get a reply to your setup, as this topic is reserved for questions about the new tools that were unique to the FMP12 release. Lee
Newbies drschenck Posted October 12, 2012 Author Newbies Posted October 12, 2012 Thanks Lee Files are opened remote through a network file path. The machine hosting the Filemaker files is not a server, rather a network workstation. We are not running a web service on that machine. Network is all Macintosh, with an Airport Extreme and an Airport Express. The Airports are set up as bridges, our DSL modem is handling DHCP. The host has been given a static ip, as well as the Airport Utilities. Connections drop sporadically and randomly.
