Example Files...updates only one way?

Featured Replies

Is it possible that the example files are configured to update only from the mobile up to the server? I can get changes I make on my mobile version to go up to the server, however any changes I make on the server vesion don't seem to come down to the mobile version.  I changed the Host DataSource - allseems to run ok - it just never brings down the changes Imake to the server version.

Hi

I have the same issue...

If I delete a record on hosted file it's sync on the mobile perfectly

but if I create a new record on host, nothing happens on the mobile with a regular sync...

I get the records after a swipe and full import only...

Is it a normal behaviour ?

I'm working with the demo files and FM_Surveys_Hosted_v1r3 on a FileMaker 13 server

You did a great job by the way, and thanks to give it to every one...

After some (more) deeper reading about the ID_Device thing... I understand my mistake

I created hosted records on the same computer than the one used by the mobile file...

As long as I create records on hosted file from a different computer than mobile file everything went well

You are exactly correct...same issue here. I published my hosted database in Web Direct and worked the files there (add, delete). Voila..

i second the many thanks.
