May 18, 201510 yr Newbies I'm running Mountain Lion on my MacBook Pro just so I can continue to use FileMaker Pro 11. The software is owned by my client, which doesn't want to pay for an upgrade, and is used by two other people, one of whom has a PC. So I'm getting pushback on the idea of upgrading FMP right now. On the other hand, I have to use other apps which require using Yosemite. So, before I install Yosemite anyway and then find out FMP 11 won't run - has anyone had experience with running it on one of the latest Mac OS's? Our application is very simple. We just keep a database, do searches, and run simple reports. Thank you!
January 2, 20179 yr I run FM11PA on a MacMini in macOS Sierra; I only use the ER diagram to draft new databases I do not know if it works with everything desktop, but it appears impossible to install under macOS Sierra, looks like it has to be preinstalled when you do the upgrade from MacOS X 10.10.
