Peter Barfield Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Hope someone can shed some light on my problem. I have a print layout which is for receipts from a till the layout itself is fine except how the heck do I get the footer to slide up (to reduce the massive White Space) I have attached screens of the layout mode and browse mode to show.I have tried all possible options as far as I can make out.
comment Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 A footer is just that. It is attached to the foot of the page and does not slide up. If you want the text "Thank you ..." to trail the totals, why don't you place it in the same grand summary part?
Peter Barfield Posted September 23, 2015 Author Posted September 23, 2015 Thanks comment. Yes I thought that through on the drive to work and agree with your summation. Only problem I have which I am sure will come good is that it doesn't cut off at the end but continues a fairly lengthy receipt with a lot of white space below sure it is just a tweak.appreciate the response.
comment Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Is this a continuous-feed printer? You should do some research on that (esp. WRT your specific brand), but I believe you'll want to reduce the page height to minimum. And you may need to replace the header with title header or a leading summary.
