This should be a easy one to answer...

Recently imported an excel file and all of the formatting was off.

Looking at the table, I need to select everything in a field (column) so that I can center every entry in the column. How do you do this?

I tried selecting the top entry, hold down the shift key and then select the bottom entry, but that didn't work.

Filemaker is not a spreadsheet, and there is no way to select a column. I don't think you would want to do it that way (in Browse mode) anyway, because it would format each individual entry - i.e. convert it from plain text to rich (formatted) text. To display the existing entries the way you want, just switch to Layout mode, select the field, and format it to align text to center (horizontally). This way the entries remain plain text - so you can display them as right-aligned in another layout, if you want.
