360Works CloudMail

Hi. So far, I have the AWS account all set up and everything seems to check out good. The Mail From is verified. The domain name is verified. I have the DNS settings in place. Yet, when I click to send a quick email test from the CloudMail document, it reports success....yet I do not receive the email at all. Also, I could not find a quick way to view the history and results of the emails to find out what is happening with the emails that I am sending out. Any suggestions? Really needing help so I can get this going for my client. Thanks for your help! --Raf

I have things set up with the AWS account and things check good in the CloudMail sample file. However, AWS has yet to indicate the customer domain I set up has yet to be verified. I did follow instructions in the CloudMail wiki for setting up the CNAMe, MX, and TXT (SPF) records in the DNS. Also, I added an A record that points the subdomain I am wanting to verify to the CloudMail IP address on AWS. I've also verified the recipient email address. I am setting up CloudMail in FileMaker. I created an AWS account and obtained the Access Key and Secret Key. However, using the CloudMail FileMaker database for testing.....I cannot seem to make it work. I am using CloudMail 3.4 in FileMaker Pro 19.5.1. I have a curious problem that occurs occasionally with HTML emails sent through our CloudMail system. The emails are all sent out correctly formatted. I copy all emails to a server inBox so that I can log what was sent out and see exactly what was sent. Some recipients are receiving emails, but seeing them formatted to a 100px width, making them very hard to read. Is there an updated version of the plugin compatible with this version? We upgraded from 19.0.1 to 19.1.2 and now CloudMail plugin will not enable on the server. (ScriptMaster also does not enable, but the Email plugin does.)

I have set up several client systems with the CloudMail plugin to facilitate small batch email facilities. Despite setting the system as per the AWS guidance with SPF and DKIM validation, the system works well but we have some problems with SPAM filtering by some recipient servers (Office 365) where they have filters set strictly. Hi, Hope everyone is keeping well,I have a little issue, I am getting this error for quite a few email addresses when sending out through cloud mail, i cant see any obvious reason for it. An error occurred while trying to deliver the mail to the following recipients: [email protected] It is not just one domain that is throwing up the error. All SPF, DKIM are set up along with DNS. I have checked the email that was sent out for spam on mail-tester and it scores 8.3 out of 10. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I have two clients still running FileMaker 15 server and for both the 360works AutoUpdate feature has failed. Dialog shows '"360works_CloudMail.fmplugin" failed to initialize' when it attempts to download the plugin. Is it now incompatible with this version? Also, there seems to be no way of getting to your downloads. For AutoUpdate we can only open the FM18 version and there is no download available.

Hello, I get this error in my Cloudmail log, could you tell me how to fix it? It seems that characters are not accepted by AWS. Would there be a function to suppress certain character that is not accepted by amazon. Sending emails with attachments using AWS and 360works CloudMail plugin I have the CloudMail plugin working on our system and are using it to send emails from our batch emailing system. It works well complete with attachments (as URL links to uploaded files) but I wanted to make the attachments show on the email like they do with regular emails sent from an email client. i.e. they should show as a file icon, rather than a long-winded URL. It would also be good to show images of single page PDFs and JPGs. Presumably, I would have to incorporate some sort of thumbnail image creation for this. Or is there an easier way I can't think of? Has anyone created or seen a much more simple 360works CloudMail template which works really like an email client where you fill in the email address, subject, body and then optionally add an attachment ALL created and stored in FileMaker. The results are then shown in tabbed portals below (view, clicks, bounces, complaints etc.) So one email and one set of results. No Campaigns.

Is there a way to send a BCC with cloud mail? I don't see anything in the documentation. I have a client request for this. Dan

The Cloudmail file is sending out test emails. When the results are called: Deliveries show OK - sent four emails - and one where the recip had unsubscribed. 3 were delivered and the unsubscribed wasn't delivered. Views not showing - I opened one of the emails and clicked on a link. No views showed up. Clicks don't show - clicked on a link in the 'viewed' email but no clicked showed up in the results. UNSCRIBE works The outbound email was a plain text message. No HTML. What am I doing wrong?

The CloudMail plug-in seems to work well through the AWS system, but the results collection has proven to be unreliable. Frequently, emails have gone out and no results have been available to collect at all. I had my suspicions about this, so I have been logging all emails sent in FileMaker and also BCC'ing emails to a catch address. We have only just installed the latest plug-in so I have yet to see if this occurs with 3.09 (we have been running 3.08) Has anyone else experienced any problems with the CloudMail results collection?

OK - we now have a working CloudMail solution that sends any number of emails with attachments (as URL links). I have two minor issues with it: 1/ Any images that we use on the HTML email (which are uploaded as attachment files, but not specific to each 'campaign') if we use as HREF links, don't work. If I check the message source the URL is there but it is prefixed and suffixed with a pile of coding which messes up the link. e.g. <a href=3D=E2=80=9Dhttp://momentumski.com/=E2=80=9D>.
