Newbies dsrock0 Posted January 30, 2003 Newbies Posted January 30, 2003 Sorry I know this is kind of a repeat, but previous answers didn't help me. I'm running filemaker server on OS 9.2.1 and I can't get web companion to stay on. I know I'm supposed to take the database down from the server and open it back up in filemaker pro on another computer (This is the advice I've been given so far). Once I do this, and go to File, Sharing, I'm not able to select Web Companion. The single user option is selected instead of the multi user option and I can't change this. If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it. I'm sure it's something simple that I'm overlooking. Thanks!
Addam Posted January 30, 2003 Posted January 30, 2003 The database can be hosted on the FMP Server. I should be opened by another computer (or the same computer) via FMP Client. The WebCompanion needs to be enabled on the client. Once it is, the "Sharing" will allow WebCompanion to be selected and configured. Hope this helps! ~Addam~
