BruceJ Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 I used FM7 to make a simple solution for a receptionist to check employees in and out of the building. It was really just an experiment to see if I could figure out the Web Publishing for several much larger solutions. Yes - I did make sure that the scipts were all web compatible. I hadn't used Instant Web publishing before. Here's my woes: 1. On the web, in list view, when you simply cick on a record, it immediately moves to the top of the list, blocking all those above it. 2. Frequently, in list format, a column of fields will misalign vertically and be far above the actual record it pertains to. 3. I thought "New Window"script would open up an another window, like a pop-up, instead it just goes to that layout.
BruceJ Posted March 25, 2004 Author Posted March 25, 2004 Browser is IE 6.0.2800.1106 Windows 2000 Prof 5.0, SP4. Compaq Pentium 4, 1.5 GHz 261,522 KB RAM I just started to get jumpy manipulation of objects in layout mode as well. I increased the memory in FM7's prefernces, but still no change.
