Is it feasible for users to perform label printing from the IWP interface? The number of records displayed seems to be a potential issue.

I'd say that html doesn't have sufficient page layout precision to do labels in a satisfactory way. Rendering differences between operating systems, browser types and versions will be a killer, plus the end users have the opportunity to change viewing font and size.
