My databse has a container field that displays a TIFF image. This field works fine when i'm editing the database directly but the images don't appear at all when i use IWP. The images are stored directly in the DB and not by a reference. I suspect I need to use JPGs to see these images in a web browser. Does anyone know of a reasonably inexpensive plug in that will convert the TIFFs to JPG/JPEG for viewing on the web?

Any advice would be great thanks,

Colleen

Hi, Colleen! Hmm.. I am surprised. I thought I remembered reading that if you store graphics in a container field, FM will create a GIF/JPG for web viewing for you, on the fly. Maybe it's a size issue or something, though, but I assume not since you said you are storing the graphics and not the paths so they images are probably small. Hmm... ah, well...

Anyway, on OS X I believe you can use iPhoto to batch convert the original TIFFs if you still have them. The Preview utility's EXPORT will work, too, but I don't think it can batch. Sorry, I don't use any plug-ins so cannot say.
