More than 5 Records in IWP Fm7

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a clue to fix the 5 records limit listing / 10 records limit in table?

This is ridiculous.

Can one use url syntax to request for 25 records and display as list view?

I have done it before in Filemaker 6 but not sure in Filemaker 7.

Currently using self-join relationship and then Portal in a layout to show 25 records. Silly.

Not really, Unless you want to go with Custom Web/XML then your pretty much SOL, be sure to thank Filemaker for this brilliant idea.

iwp puts out 5 records in table view and we like table view because we can control the header don't we...

however you can get a prety good list like view from the new table view.

under the table view properties, include a header part and footer part if you want. fix up your header your way and slam in any buttons for web scripts that you want.

In filemaker use the layout to reorder the columns and resize them to match your header. Set the row custom height and add grid lines Horiz or Vert.

Now the magic. Turn off the stinking column headers... Now it looks like a list view and iwp will pump out 20 lines, not 5, not more or less....

It made me happy to find this solution. Hope it makes you happy too...

I too have found this a major problem (that I didnt have in older versions if I remember correctly -or was it because I was using the server version...)

also cant figure out why on some layouts I can edit fields but on others I cant?
