Newbies robert seymour Posted August 4, 2005 Newbies Posted August 4, 2005 How can I get more than 5 records displayed when performing a find with Instant Web Publishing? I need to display all records found. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks! Bob Seymour Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

Newbies robert seymour Posted August 5, 2005 Author Newbies Posted August 5, 2005 (edited) I'm new to FM. What is that? Where can I find documentation? Also, why can I get a complete return of all records with the desktop application and only 5 records at a time from the Web search? Thanks!! Bob Edited August 5, 2005 by Guest
Reed Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 FMI has limited the list view of IWP to show a limited number of records at a time. (Performance would lag if you tried to return, say 5000 records on to one web page) It used to be 5, but they've updated the web publishing engine for both FMP and FMSA, so it shows 25 now. The portal workaround has been described previously in this forum.... do a search on 5-record limit and portal...
Newbies robert seymour Posted August 8, 2005 Author Newbies Posted August 8, 2005 We're not looking at those numbers. But more than 5 that we get would be nice. I'll search the forum. Thanks!!
Reed Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 If you update the web publishing engine, you'll get 25 instead of 5. FMI changed the behavior of IWP in the update...
