Is there a relatively easy way to replicate the search functionality of the web companion from FileMaker Pro 5/6 in Instant Web Publishing for FileMaker Pro 7?

The status area is OK for someone that's used to using FileMaker, but the search layout of the web companion was very simple for our end users to learn and use every day.

I agree, the IWP Status Area is too confusing. I keep it hidden. You can implement Status Area functions using buttons and scripts. You may need to add a separate layout that has the fields you want to search. Easy? No. Relatively easy? Define relatively... B)
