Can't display lines that are diagonal

Lines drawn on my layout that are diagonal do not show up on the web. Any workarounds or solutions to this?

Draw a whole bunch of 1x1 pixel boxes and arrange them in a diagonal line :P

Probably easier to draw certain things in Illustrator or the like, and insert them onto your layout as GIF files.

The reason they don't show up is that the web browser (HTML) has no way of drawing diagonal lines. Follow Reed's advice and use graphics. Save them as GIFs, IWP converts ALL graphic formats except GIF to small jpegs that are very lossy and look crude.
