Containers in IWP LIst Mode not displaying correctly

Featured Replies

Guys,

This is really frustrating me, Have any of you guys, successfully got related container images to display in IWP in List View?

When I view my layout in FMP8, it looks perfect, when I view the same data and layout in IWP, my images have dissapeared. Funny thing is, they seem to appear, if I go into Form view.

I've tried everything I can think of, i.e. putting my list layout into a portal, storing my graphics as refrence to files...but not had much luck.

Any help would be much appreciated, its a gantt chart Im trying to produce...Im thinking at this point possibly to ditch the graphics and use text, does anyone know a x-platform "square" character?

Finally, I've read many posts here regarding 5 records printing limitation in List view. Is this still the case with FMP8? as I've so far printed 30 records out in List Mode....hope it wasn't a fluke

There is a gotcha with IWP: Images in container fields (stored in the DB, not just references) will only show if they're on a layout that is directly related to the table where the image is stored. (This behavior only applies to IWP, as it works fine with a FMP client).

FYI: Buttons from global containers in portals do not execute scripts correctly if the relationship to the button isn't based on the portal.
