SarahF Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Hello there, Two part question: 1. I have passwords enabled for some of my databases - but when you go the the built-in home page, it just grants you access to the databases without asking you for the password. Scariness! How do I fix this? And, 2. I want to enable passwords so that clients who have FileMaker Pro can open the file via the File - Open - Host pattern but can only get to their own database. I don't have any trouble with files that I create new with a password before I add data to them. But if I add data to the file, and then add the password, it prompts all the web users out there who search the database for a password. This makes them very unhappy and me too. How can I add a password that prompts someone accessing the database itself for it, but allows web users to still search through the html interface? Thanks much! Sarah
