Publish my database on the web

Featured Replies

I have bought the fm server advanced, I want to put my database on the web. I do not own my server I purchase it from a provider ieasy website. What are the steps to publish on the web.

I know how to do basic html and I am a novice on publishing fm on the web.

Do I need to have my own server tied to the web or can I do it another way?

thank in advance

Randy,

Do you want to create an Instant Web Publishing web site where you are limited as to what you can display, or do you want to create a custom web publishing site using HTML, CSS and PHP?

If you have FileMaker Server Advanced you can certainly host your own site, or you can have someone else host it for you.

I have purchased a website and I would like to put a data base on the site. I wrote the database now I need to know the next step to publish it on the web. I do not have a server tied to the internet. just a computer. So I am at a loss on what to do next.

Have a look at our services:

We supply the servers and FMSA licenses, making it quite an affordable alternative. There's very little need for a dedicated server for all but the most heavily trafficed environments.
