Newbie has question

I work in the convention industry and handle a great deal of speakers, depending on the show, and use a Filemaker template I made up to handle the check in process. I was wondering if the new version of FM could create a folder with the speaker's vitals ( Name, date of talk, room number )when they were processed in my check in procedure? Ex. J Smith is checked in and automatically a folder is created that has Time, Name, Day and Room of his talk.

Secondly, can filemaker's web features allow me to create a web based log in page at a pc so when the speker puts in, say, his email, they are automatically linked to a their folder so they can click on it and download the presetation to the local machine for viewing and/or editing?

I know with scripting one can do about anything but I am not a programmer so I was curious how "close" to either one of these features one might get with FM v8?
