I'm using some databases on the web that require different levels of access for the site visitor. I am using Instant Web Publishing, and when connecting to the databases on-line for management, a few of them do not require a username and password because of the web site permissions.

Does anyone know if there is a way to force Filemaker to ask for a username and password for database administration, without requiring "Custom Web Publishing?"

This is not 100% secure...

You can set up diff database with diif user names

have an HTML page that goes to each data base

THe user id and password page is a simple

search page that lets the person proceed
