Complete novice requires your help

Hi,

Can anyone put me in touch with a good tutorial on how to get my database onto a web page.I am using FM5 and DreamWeaver. All the tutorials I have found to date use FM and Home Page (which I don't have) and as a complete novice I am finding it a little bit of a struggle, so any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance and Best Regards.

The earth belongs to anyone who stops for a moment, gazes and goes on his way.

You no doubt have noticed a lack of response to your query.

HomePage and DreamWeaver are basically html editors. I don't use either, instead I write html from scratch. I found it difficult enough to break through the learning curve of custom publishing while understanding html syntax. If you are using a html editor, there is a good chance you do not understand html syntax. How well do you know your editor? If you do not understand html syntax, then embedding properly syntaxed cdml into html code becomes even more daunting. If you don't understand the syntax, how do you expect to solve problems - which are certain to occur? I wish I could give you an easy answer to your quandry, but there is no easy answer of which I am aware.

Peace

Take a look in the FAQ forum for some info on CDML tags.
