Charlie Boisseau Posted August 3, 2001 Posted August 3, 2001 I have found that MS Internet Explorer 4 doesn't send a nescessary action to filemaker if you just press enter, however the button is tagged with a name "-Find" which is what it sends as its action. To perform a FileMaker search the "-Find" tag must be submitted in the form along with the search criteria etc. The easiest fix is to include a hidden field in the form called "-Find" with no value. This way it doesn't matter whether they press the button or not. This also goes for any other form that has an action.
hiro Posted August 3, 2001 Author Posted August 3, 2001 Thank you Keith and chazboi!!! You guys saved me!! I'll try it! Take good care, Hiro
