i just upgrade filemaker pro 5 with filemaker pro 5.5. i do sharing file through web companion port 13920.i got error when i want to view database file through ie 5....what's going on ?

I think FMP's preferences get trashed when upgraded. Did you reset the port from the default port 80 after installation?

yes, i did change port number from 80 become 13920 after install.

so what should i do?

Try it with some other port -- say 519 (or 591) or 8080 -- and see if it works. If it works with the temporary port number then something is blocking the port 13920 somewhere.

but since i used to filemaker pro 5, i didn't get problem about port number

until i installed filemaker pro 5.5...sometimes i can open filemaker database through browser but sometimes i got error : page can not be displayed.....(fyi i did share filemaker database to user so they can open filemaker database from their own pc and they have filemaker pro 5)
