Hi All,

I have a form with one text field whose value is set to the corresponding field in my database. I want to give the user the opportunity to change the content of this field. This form has two submit button, one with -Edit and one with -Delete.

I noticed recently that, when the focus is in the text field, if you use the "Enter" key instead of clicking on one of the button, you get the error format file...

Is there a way to avoid this ?

Either deactivating the "Enter" key effect or associate it with my -Edit submit button would do.

Go to the FileMaker Inc TechInfo Library and do a search there for info. This is a really old issue.
