Spell check and copy and Paste

Featured Replies

Hello Guys,

Have any of you managed to get a spell checker working with IWP? Im also trying to get the copy and paste scripts to work, but haven’t managed to succeed. Funny thing is I can copy and paste using the right mouse button in IWP, but cant copy and paste using standard buttons generated in FM with only the scripts copy and paste added. Any thoughts.

Yes. Differentiate between what FileMaker controls, and what the client's web browser controls.

The right mouse button is instructing the browser to copy/paste things from the rendered web page, and since the browser owns the clipboard it works. Buttons on the layout to instruct FMP to copy paste won't work because FMP doesn't control the clipboard, it's only generating the html that the browser is rendering.

Thanks ; Sounds like copy and paste are not Web compatible scripts, so ScriptMaker should deactivate them when I indicate web compatibility.
