IWP Fails with Explorer

I have a Web based solution that allows the user to view records through a portal. When viewing more than 4,000 records, there are issues using Explorer causing some data to be garbled and buttons missing off the layout. There is no problem with this while using Safari or Firefox. Anyone have any experience with this problem using Explorer?
