Newbies amananadink Posted July 10, 2008 Newbies Posted July 10, 2008 hi all, i hope that someone can help me, i am trying to run FM Pro 9.0v3 on a Mac Pro running Leopard 10.5.4 we are also running a leopard server of the same machine but I can not get IWP to work, it just says "Filemaker can not share files over the web because it cannot start Instant Web Publishing." from my research this seems to be an issue with leopard and previous versions of Filemaker but I have followed the advice on the Filemaker knowledge base off re-installing over filemaker but to no avail. I have restarted the machine numerous times as well as stopped the web services from running in server admin because of possible port access conflicts but still nothing. has anyone else still got this issue and is there anyway to fix it at all? thanks Jeremy
Newbies George Sokolsky Posted July 14, 2008 Newbies Posted July 14, 2008 Jeremy, I had this same issue running FM 8 Client on Leopard. After I deleted my Filemaker Preferences in ~/Library/Preferences/Filemaker Preferences, that error message disappeared and it launched right away. -George
