Linking databases

Featured Replies

Hi, I just bought FMP Advanced and have created 3 new databases. I would like to put a button that has 3 buttons on each database that would allow me to toggle between databases. I have never done this and really dont have a clue as to how to go about doing this. Can someone shed some light on how to do this.

To clarify, I have 3 databases. One called Contacts, one called projects and one called completed work reports. I would like a button at the top of each database that would allow me to click and jump between databases. Hope I explained it clearly.

Any help would be appreciated.

OK, I figured out how to link the databases, but is there a way to populte the current clients info into the other databases?

Do you have three separate FM databases, or one FM file with 3 tables?

Are you saying that the 3 "databases" are not currently related and need instructions on how to do so?

Why not just combine them in one file? Why keep them separate?

We don't really know what the OP has. ...and he seems to be gone. Of course, it should be one file with related tables.
