Is IWP messing with my dates?

I have set the date format in the FM database that is being published and I have read elsewhere that the date format will follow the one that the sever has.

I have checked on the database itself by using the sort command that everything is ok, but when it is published the dates are shown in the American mm/dd/yy format.

P.S. I would like the date in dd/mm/yy format.

How do I correct this?
