Do the boxed copies come platform specific or can you install it on Win or Mac?

Not sure about 10 since FMI doesnt really send out CDs as upgrades anymore, but when we used to get CDs it was universal.

I thought they were but I've only been using the downloads that come with my licensing agreements. I have a friend interested in buying a single copy of Advanced to make a few simple runtime apps but neither of us could find a definitive answer to my question online.
