ron G Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 I am using FM 12 03 in Windows 7. Question: Is there a way to freeze the header on a layout so that when the user scrolls down, the header stays fixed and visible? (Like you can do in Excel) Just wondering... Thanks
ron G Posted April 8, 2013 Author Posted April 8, 2013 Right. I was just wondering if there was a 'trick' someone knows about to simulate the 'freeze' in form view?
Rick Whitelaw Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 If the Body part was comprised of a portal only, you could scroll the portal and the Header would remain static. 1
Josh Ormond Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Just note, on Windows at least, "scrolling" on the wheel of the mouse scrolls records not the layout. You can lock and hide the status bar to prevent that, but it still doesn't scroll the layout. Form view, is really, really a good idea to have fit inside the window without scrolling. I'm not entirely sure how that behaves on the mac. Right. I was just wondering if there was a 'trick' someone knows about to simulate the 'freeze' in form view? 1
ron G Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 Thanks. I just want to 'lock' the portion of the header in the Header Title (Header) if the user uses the 'elevator' to scroll down.
