Hello,

Does anyone have any info on what might be on the horizon for Filemaker 6? better scripting? ejection seats??

No ejection seats, but I understand that the "Executive" version comes with a golf course.

FMI has made no announcements about any future version of the product in quite some time.

I hope FMP 6 has some of the following...

1. Horizontal portal display.

2. Script level variables for counters, field names, layout names etc...

3. Better ScriptMaker maybe integrated with BBEdit or text editor of your choice.

4. Better drag and drop. So you can get file references from files dragged into a container field.

I could go on all day, but I won't.

If v.6 is not Unicode based, I am switching everything to something else.

I know, it is peanut for FM our 300+ licenses.

The foreign languages implementation is from steam age.
