Does 5.5 work better with Citrix?

I'm having major Citrix problems, see my post: Citrix Problems Post

I was wondering if v5.5 might solve my problems.

I'm currently using v4 and having the Citirx blues trying to get it to work tright - again, see my post.

Thanks in advance for the help... If I can't solve the problem the IS folks want me to make the database in Access... I don't want to do this, I'm a FMP guy to the bone.

Ohh, most definately.

I do not even think that v4 was ever certified for use in Citrix environments, although perhaps a late version of it was. FMP 5.x is definately certified and well tested in Citrix.

How anybody can recommend Abcess, when moving from a real RDBMS, is beyond me. I guess that nobody ever gets fired for recommending a MS product, no matter how much of a dismal failure it is.

I could understand them recommeding some kind of Oracle system, but not Abcess.

The Capt was right... v5 works much better with Citrix. I found out you have to use a multiuser copy as well.

I called the volume licensing rep at FileMaker, Joni, and she said that v5.5 is Citirx certified as well.

For what its worth, v's 3 and 4 just won't cut the mustard with Citrix.

Hope this helps some other poor strugling sole before he/she has to go through what I've been dealing with over the past three weeks fighting this thing.
