I probably have done something strange today but I get a question mark on my icon in my dock. (see screenshot)

Can someone tell me what this means, what I probably did wrong and how to fix it ?

 Where did you capture the FM file icon, from you desktop? 

What happens when you click on it, does it open FileMaker?

Please update your profile to reflect you current version of FileMaker, Platform and Operations System. Just click on your name next to your Aviator above.

Open Finder, press Option key, select Go > Library, open Preferences, delete com.apple.dock.plist, open Terminal and write:

 

killall Dock

 

Was the advice found elsewhere for dock programs that give a question mark.
