One of the standout new features of FileMaker Pro 16 is native support for the JSON data-interchange format. In addition to providing easy integration with a host of online services, it also provides developers with the tools to create robust hierarchical structures for use entirely within FileMaker. This hierarchical JSON viewer / editor file provides some tools for visualizing, manipulating, and leveraging JSON text.

DevCon 2015 is just around the corner and I’m busy planning my schedule and getting ready to help out with the pre-conference training sessions. I look forward to attending DevCon each year and I’m always glad to connect in person with friends and colleagues from all over the world.

“I’d never heard of FileMaker before last August,” said Carlson. “I started working with Matt Navarre at MSN Media full time in September, and I’ve been aching to learn it ever since.”

We had a special presentation at the Atlanta FileMaker Developers group meeting last night. Andy LeCates and Darrin Quick from FileMaker, Inc. came by to present some of the new features in FileMaker 14 and answer questions from the attendees.
