We got a few new ImageCapture functions to import images from camera on Mac. So if you can import in Photos.app or Image Capture.app, you can also import them in FileMaker. For version 10.4 of our MBS Plugin we got a new function ImageCapture.SetItemsAddedScript to define which script to trigger when a new picture is there. So you first use ImageCapture.OpenDevice to connect to camera, then use ImageCapture.RequestEnableTethering to ask for tethering, later call ImageCapture.RequestTakePicture to take a picture. Buying the license from us has some extra benefits, one of them being a nicely formatted PDF document with all information about the license, including download links. In order to be able to generate this document from our FileMaker based CRM, I needed to find a way to include functional web links in it. So I wrote a custom function that does it, without needing any plug-ins or other external technologies. The custom function simply takes a PDF saved from FileMaker, and adds a link to it. As a little boy he grew tomatoes and some herbs in pots on balcony (because we didn’t have a garden at that time). Over time his hobby evolved into growing vegetables in a greenhouse. With the last DynaPDF update we got new support for ZUGFeRD 2.0 and Factur-X, two standards to deliver invoices as PDF files with embedded XML data. We supported ZUGFeRD 1.0 before and now upgraded code to support version 2, too. So here is a little FileMaker script to convert an existing PDF into a ZUGFeRD 2.0 document. Before you start, please assemble the XML for the invoice and know whether it's Minimum, Basic, Comfort or Extended level.
