FileMaker Help window instantly disappears

I use Filemaker 13 Pro. When I click on FileMaker Pro Help in my menu, the Help window momentarily appears and then almost instantly disappears. This happens on both my Mac laptops, one with OS 10.12.5 and one with 10.12.4. I used to have no problem invoking the Help screen.

This isn't answering your question, and I have experienced similar problems, so I rarely use the system helps for FileMaker. Instead, I prefer to use the online Help because it seems to be more stable and faster.
