Hi,

Is it possible to host same database with web companion and FM Pro server ?

Will there be any technical problem or performance reduction if I do so ?

That is actually the preferred method. You would load and serve all of your databases on Filemaker Server. Then a copy of Filemaker Pro Unlimited would open the databases and they would be served to the web via Web Companion.

While one can argue the performance benefits (server vs local file) either way, the security and backup controls are well worth this configuration.
