New install of latest Server on Windows 2019. Following this document. Web publishing will not stay on. Spoke with support. Uninstalled everything. Re installed with alternate JDK from Oracle. Adjusted JAVA_HOME. Now the button stays on for a tiny bit longer. But still no joy. I did all this on 2012 and I recall Java was a pest then too! Any tips on troubleshooting please? I’m on my iPhone slightly lacking in details so I apologise for that. But how did you get Web Publishing going? Thanks for your time, it’s much appreciated.

It seems the fix is to uninstall and then install JDK 17 .msi. I have done this 3 times. The error is 502. The web publishing button will not stay on. Very frustrating. 

Are you using the FileMaker default SSL cert, by any chance?
