I created a global field to make a filter in my database. It's working fine in FM, and all my priviledges seem okey, but it just doesn't work in IWP. I mean I cannot edit the field to perform my filter.

Can anyone tell me how to overcome this?

I haven't had any problems editing a global field in IWP. As long as you have your privlages set right, it should be allright.

Maybe tell me some more detail as to the problem your having or attach the file to your post in a zip?

I have a setup using a global in an iwp search script as-well. This worked fine, but now suddenly the global will not hold on to the input value after "Confirm".

Your problem here sound like the same... Did you find out what it was?

It looks like I found the problem: I used the same field (global) several times on the same layout (which works fine in the Filemaker client)... It seems like the iwp didn't know which field to use when "Confirm"ing.

So I guess the fact that it was a global had nothing to do with this...
