Jerremy Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Hi all, While looking for an answer, I found this question.... With no answer What controls this? I'd like to not have a scroll bar on the bottom of the page when all the data the user needs is right in front of them. Also, a related question, it seems to do this with portals as well - adds an unwanted and unneeded horizontal scroll bar. Anyone know why IWP does this to the page - adding horizontal scroll bars for no reason? ...And how to make it not do this? Thanks for your help, Jerremy
macmekker Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 (edited) Hi. I have the same problem - unnecessary horisontal scrollbar in portals on the web. But I have a theory: It's the combination FM instant publishing/Safari. The default vertical scrollbar in Safari is wider than the one in FM, so it leaves to small horisontal space for the portal - so it think it needs a scollbar. If you look at you web page on a PC with Internet Explorer, there is no hor.scrollbar, and here you can see the vertical scrollbar is not so wide as Safari's. How to fix it - I have not found yet though. Edited September 27, 2005 by Guest
