Robert T Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I am using FMP 7 on the Mac and I am looking for a toturial or a guide for pubishing databases on the web. I can't seem to find instructions. Is there additonal software needed? Thank you Robert
Wim Decorte Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Check out this topic of the help file: "Publishing databases on the web". Note that with FMP as the host, you can only have 5 concurrent connections to it. If you need more then you have to go with FileMaker Server Advanced.
Robert T Posted November 22, 2004 Author Posted November 22, 2004 Well, I have already looked at that topic. It skims over the process, it is vague and it did not get me to th point where it works. So as I originally asked...is there some form of tutorial that is not vague that tell me how to do this? And what happens when there is a router and a network? None of this is mentioned. I need some good tech help to make this work.
Reed Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Check out www.fmwebschool.com They have a tutorial (that you have to pay for) with example files. Dana
