stuj1026 Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 It seems I cannot get my buttons that are attached to scripts to work while using the firefox web browser. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just my machine? Stu
Reed Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Have you updated to 7v3? This fixed the problem of script buttons in Mozilla browsers.
stuj1026 Posted January 17, 2005 Author Posted January 17, 2005 Went to the Mozilla site but did not see any updates for FIREFOX.. SEems the only version they have is version 1. Am I missing something? Stu
T-Square Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 I am running Firefox 1, and having no substantive problems with buttons working (aside from my own wonky software glitches). The other person was recommending that you update your copy of *Filemaker* to version 7v3. David
stuj1026 Posted January 20, 2005 Author Posted January 20, 2005 yes the database was designed in 7.3 but problem persists.. It is hosted under fm7 advanced.. That could be the problem! Stu
Reed Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Yes, it's possible that Server Advanced has not been updated to the same level as IWP in plain FMP. (Another good reason for me to live with FMP for a while longer before updating to FMSA)
Bryan VonDeylen Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 yes the database was designed in 7.3 but problem persists.. It is hosted under fm7 advanced.. That could be the problem! I have my IWP on FPAS 7.0v1 (still need to update to v2), and Firefox does NOT work with buttons. Neither does Camino. When I get my FPAS udpated to v2, I am hoping that will change.
stuj1026 Posted January 27, 2005 Author Posted January 27, 2005 We tried to upgrade our server to fmpa v.2 but we had problems with connectivity.. Our IWP was no longer recognized.. If you upgrade ... please let me know how it works out for you Thanks Stu
