I want to hide the status area and display a table on IWP, but the user has no way to go to another layout without navigation button. I tried creating a global container with a button in it, but it didn't work. Is there any clever way to include navigation options in a table layout in IWP?

The global container can't have an atached script in IWP.

Use a transparent button above and grouped to the container to hold your script.
