PDF Images not showing up from

Featured Replies

I have a PDF database that was just published online. The PDF images are not showing up, these PDF's were imported via File/Import Records/Folder - NOT as references.

I tried manually inserting a PDF (via right click/insert picture) and the images shows up fine, online.

I have another JPG database that was just published online and all the records show up fine, these JPG's were imported via File/Import Records/Folder - NOT as references.

Obviously a PDF auto-import is not working. Any suggestions, workarounds?

Thanks in advance!

Could this be the issue: Container fields in IWP must be directly related to the layout's table or they may not appear in IWP (although they appear in FileMaker).

I did a couple of tests. The same thing applies to layout objects too. There's obviously something different how FMP handles "file" and "picture", but I couldn't find anything on FM knowledge base.

My PDFs and jpegs are both stored directly. Online, the PDFs appear as filenames and the jpegs as images. The PDFs download when clicked on. For my PDFs I use the insert file comamnd. If I use the insert picture command I just get a Question mark symbol.

I checked the tables, the container fields are directly related to the correct table.
