I've been able to correctly configure a database to be shared over my LAN by assigning my database to port 591 and I can share this with anyone within my own LAN. I am sharing my solution from a workstation (WIN XP) IP 192.168.5.119:591. The problem is sharing the file outside my LAN over a WAN. I set my firewall (Sonicwall TZ170) to forward requests to my public IP address (i.e. 68.1.1.120) but I get no response. I set up the rule in my firewall for TCP6 on port 591,(using a browser I type in Http://68.1.1.120:591, but I get nothing. I know I must be missing something here as I have little experience in IWP. Can anyone suggest what it is I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated. Thanks, Ron
