My Website, www.transpowercorp.com, is completely written in FileMaker and hosted by means of Instant Web Publishing. IWP works, but shrinks the site considerably. Internet Explorer 6 and 5 and AOL display the site fine, but without zooming capability, and therefore the site seems small. Internet Explorer 7 does have zooming capability, but FireFox does not. Opera does have zooming and renders the site very nicely--except that the scroll bars are displayed inappropriately thereby hampering data entry. Also, Opera displays superscripts as subscripts (but this is minor). I doubt if anything can be done about these issues with Opera, so I'm sticking with Crazy Browser and recommending that visitors to my site use Crazy Browser with zoom set to 120%. Comments?

Hi,

Nice site!

I'm not sure why the text is small on your IWP site... this doesn't happen for me on IWP with v7 or v8. Maybe it's something about the choice of fonts... have you tried other fonts.

My site now is still on v7, since I'd like to wait for 8v2 of the WPE before upgrading my server....

the IWP portion of my site is at:

http://mslab.chem.umn.edu/schedule/

right now, guests can view the reservations by following the instructions at the password prompt, but only users with accounts can make reservations. (The need to be trained on the equipment first)
