openURL opens window in background on MS Windows

Using FMP8A on a Mac and testing IWP w/Safari, openURL performs as expected. When I tested IWP on Windows, the URL opens in a new window which is quickly pushed to the background. I've tried changing the database window from maximize, but no change in behavior. Is there another Windows setting I should be concerned about? (I'm a Mac user)

Do a check for the system platform, and if on windows send event: and just put your url in here i.e.:D "www.google.com.au". Select bring application to front and it should open your url in the default browser.

Solution. After launching the url, pause the layout for a few seconds. Don't know why, but it works.
