value list structure different on IWP?

I thought I read a solution to this problem before I had the problem, and now can't find it.

It seems that IWP created value lists and checkbox values have an extra return at the end of the line. If I [color:blue]Substitute(some_multivalue_field;"¶";", ") I get an extra comma at the end if executed via IWP.

What's the best solution, check for the dangling delimiter or check to see if you're on the web?
