Newbies rna Posted August 24, 2000 Newbies Posted August 24, 2000 I am having difficulty trying to get my webpage database to appear on our companies intranet. I'm a Windows person and not very experienced with Macs. The Mac is connected with TCP/IP protocol and I have the option for FileMaker to create its defalt home page selected. When I open the browser and enter the IP address with the port number (that I entered into FileMaker), my browser can't locate the page giving me an error message stating that the site may be down (the DB is opened in FM, and the browser can locate other sites). The users Guide is not giving me much info to get through this problem. Any suggestions?

JM Posted September 14, 2000 Posted September 14, 2000 In order for my webpages to appear on my company's intranet, I must change the network proxy to "Direct Connection to the Internet". You might try looking in your browser's preferences for proxies. Hope this helps! JM
