November 17, 200025 yr Author is this even possible or am i asking to much of filemaker. because right now we have part of our intranet running a a microsoft frontpage server, and part of it (the part with filemaker databases) running on a filemaker server, which makes it a little complicated, i would like to move everything on to the filemaker server, because i should be able to host all of the pages that our now on the frontpage server on teh filemaker server, they are just normal web pages. however i order to move everything to the filemaker server i have to be able to have a cgi bin on the file maker server, because we are going to be putting some cgi on our page. please let me know if this can be done.. thanks a million bman
November 20, 200025 yr You will suffer big performance hit. FM web server is best for accessing data from FM. The IIS is 10-1000 times faster, than webserver in WebCompanion technology. I am running both on one machine, where are the problems with that?
